Refund Policy
Last updated 3 November 2026
One rule decides what you can get back. It is explained below with examples.
How credits work
JobPostings API uses a record-based credit balance (1 Credit = 1 Job Record returned). You add credit to your balance, and each billable request is deducted at the rate on the pricing page. Purchased Pay-As-You-Go credit does not expire.
How much you can get back
The refundable amount is the smaller of two numbers:
- the total you paid us in the last 14 days, and
- the unused credit value currently on your paid balance.
Two examples:
| Situation | Paid, last 14 days | Unused balance | Refund |
|---|---|---|---|
| Used most of the credit | $100.00 | $15.00 | $15.00 |
| Used little of the credit | $50.00 | $45.00 | $45.00 |
How to ask for a refund
Email support@jobpostingsapi.com from the address on your account and tell us the amount you would like back. We will confirm the refundable amount before anything is processed.
Refunds are sent back through the payment method you used where that is possible. For crypto payments we will confirm the details with you by email. Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance.
Billing mistakes
If you were charged twice, a payment did not reach your balance, or credits were deducted incorrectly, tell us as soon as you notice. We will investigate and put it right, either by refunding the payment or by restoring the credit, regardless of the 14-day window.
